Commento di JGrekkWe did this last night and it was pretty easy to get the achievement for everyone.It's simple, if you need to get bitten, stay within the big circle in the middle of the room. If not, don't go near the circle.Dps her down really low, and you can get away with getting 16 people bitten. If you don't need that much, players can get MC'd and still get credit for the achievement. So if you need 12 for example, your 8 vampires should only bite 4 more, while the 4 who shouldn't get a bite off will just get MC'd and run around. We weren't sure if MC'd targets would get credit if they were killed though, so don't kill them. You shouldn't need to anyways.Also, don't forget about the tanks:) either bite both at the end or only bite one. You need one to keep threat, and the debuff drops whatever threat you have.
Commento di AquissyaI just did this on 25-man normal with 3 level 90s (ret pally, destro lock, and me, combat rogue) during patch 5.4.2 and I largely figured it out myself so here's what I did:First of all, in order to get the achievement, you have to NOT become a vampire one time and BECOME a vampire another time (it takes two weeks minimum). Not becoming a vampire is easy, just burn the boss down. In order to become a vampire you have to be bitten by the boss. Just being bitten, however, does not count for the achievement.Only one person will be bitten and it took us a while to figure out this achieve so I can confirm that the person who gets bitten IS RANDOM. It happens in the first few seconds of the fight and does not seem to happen again from my experience. When you get bitten, you get a minute-long debuff. After the minute has expired you become a vampire.

You have a short time (not sure exactly but about 10 seconds) to bite someone else with your first action button or you die. If you die you will STILL GET CREDIT for the achievement.Me and a guildie (the paladin) needed the achievement and another DPS (the lock) came to help out. On the time we got it, the paladin got bitten, we DPS'ed the boss to about 20% and then he bit me after becoming a vampire.
We stopped DPS (I took off my poisons, no DOTs, etc.) for the next minute until I became a vampire. I bit the lock to survive and we nuked the last 20% of the bosses health. Both me and the paladin got credit for becoming a vampire on the achievement and the lock got credit for not becoming a vampire.I should also note that I have already been bitten on my holy paladin and downed her this week on another run (25 Heroic) without being bitten and did not get credit.
Everyone else in the group got credit for not becoming a vampire. I opened a ticket but closed it now that I have the achievement. A few other people on the web have been reporting issues with paladins getting credit for this achievement, and for not becoming a vampire in particular. The second half of this achievement is fairly simple.
Just blast down Blood Queen Lana'thel and you'll get at a very early stage in the fight. All of your offensive cooldowns should be up when this happens, and she'll be dead in seconds. At this stage in the game, you will not have to worry about the biting component of the debuff.The problem for me came with the first half: defeating Lana'thel WITHOUT becoming a vampire.
Spec into and use to start the fight. LET THE EARTH ELEMENTAL AGGRO HER AND DO NOT ATTACK LANA'THEL YOURSELF. This will cause her to prioritize you for Essence of the Blood Queen and either earn you another week of waiting on the achievement or death. Once she says 'Know my hunger!' We had a small group of six and followed the common strategy of biting a people who need that part of the achievement. For some reason I was not bitten even once (I swear I didn't have a special bar) and I got credit. I wonder if healers can get this part of the achievement being credited for another people in the group. Can someone can confirm or clarify this? I don't know if this was necessary, but I don't use a pet in mm and I needed something to tank her away from me. When she starts to use the ability (really helpful to have deadly boss mods for this), feign death (camouflage works as well, as I discovered since I needed to end a previous attempt and feign was still on cooldown when she cast vampiric bite). I never got the debuff, and I never saw her attempt the ability again, finished the fight and got the achievement. Of course I didn't check my raid difficulty before engaging and was really confused when she died so fast - engaged her on 10 instead of 25-man. Guess I have to wait another week for my mount.Anyway, here's how I did it:. You will need a or similar trinket that summons minions. I used the Barov Lumberjack Caller because it summons 5 minions and I thought more bodies would be best to avoid getting bitten. Spec into for the in-combat stealth. Equip your trinket and make a button for it so you don't have to fiddle with the character window. Engage Blood-Queen Lana'thel by casually strolling past her (DO NOT HIT HER).
Kite and don't hit her while watching a countdown timer for her bite. I use Deadly Boss Mods. She will bite after 15 seconds of being aggroed. With Blood-Queen Lana'thel selected, pop your trinket at 2 to 3 seconds before the bite. You need to cut it close so she doesn't kill all your minions before the bite. Right after popping the trinket use Incarnation: King of the Jungle and immediately stealth - you should be stealthed before the bite happens. If all goes well, one of your minions should be the one getting bitten and you are now free to kill her without the vampire debuff.I hope this helps any druids that have been struggling with this part of the achievement.
Good luck and have fun! Commento di t0lkien1Can confirm the above post. The first (and much harder) part of this achievement - i.e. Not being bitten - is soloable as a Night Elf Druid in 6.0.3. The detailed strat is as follows:. Make sure you have Force of Nature talented (you need your Treants).
It helps to create a timer via DBM (/dbm timer 15 OnceBitten) but it's not necessary. The important thing is that she bites around the 18 second mark. Target the boss, then pull with Force of Nature. Start your timer if you have one.

The boss will attack your Treant. Wait a couple of seconds and then summon another one (in case she kills the first). Move away and to the side.
At around 15 seconds, but it can be any time after you have summoned the second Treant, hit Shadow Meld and wait for the 'Feel my hunger' or similar notification to signify she has bitten the Treant. Kill her, as she won't use her bite attack again. Profit!That's it. It took me two weeks, a lot of tries, and quite a few deaths to figure this out.

Do not engage her, select talent.2. Target her and cast Invoke Xuen, still do not attack.3. While Xuen is attacking, I casted Ox Statues to be safe and hold threat off me completely.
Kept casting them on CD until Xuen fades then I engaged.4. Burn her down, she'll cast shadows but will not bite again.
Easy sauce on 25H I assume even easier on other difficulties. Commento di nrgzFound a good way as an elemental shammy. Drop your earth elemental and send it to attack. Wait 30 ish seconds then drop you totems and burst the boss. Then pop into ghost wolf and kite the boss ( well run away ) around the room. Every now and then the boss stops to shout so then refresh your flame shock and searing totem. When boss runs to middle drop your tremor totem to avoid the fear and burst the boss down.
